Jane's Trousers

Jane and I have an arrangement...

'The orange ones'

...she finds colourful curtains due for recycling and I make them into trousers!

Jane's trousers only used to last two minutes - she either wore them out holding drums between her knees or ripped them sliding out of her van. Now they're a little more robust (and she has a new van!).

Pockets are essential so I put some expandable, cargo-trouser style ones on this pair.

These trousers were made from two pieces of curtain with complementary patterns and colours. I cut them up and rearranged them to create a new funky style and now they're ideal for a teacher of african drumming.

Next on the job list are shirts with grandad-style necklines.
